The Cool Luxe™ waterproof mattress protector has a low profile that will not alter the feel of your mattress.
The Cool Luxe™ protector hugs your mattress like a fitted sheet—keeping it locked in place while allowing for easy install and removal for cleaning.
Thermal conductive yarns work to quickly move heat away from your body to help keep you cool as you fall asleep.
The Cool Luxe Protector’s thermal conductive yarns aren’t limited to cooling capabilities—they are antimicrobial treated & reinforced with a thin laminated TPU barrier. All of these features work together to ensure that you settle into cool, comfortable sleep on a clean & dry mattress.
Our cool touch, stretch-knit fabric delivers flexible comfort and protects the top of your mattress with a quiet, laminated barrier. The sporty 14” dropdown mesh skirt allows for maximum airflow and the extra wide 1.5” elastic helps hold it in place.

Your mattress may be one of the largest investments you make for your home, and you spend 6-20 hours a day in bed! Typically, the mattress’s top fabric is a light color that can become easily stained. Not only that, your mattress can absorb sweat & odors and be very difficult to clean.
Why not add a thin removable layer that is easily cleaned when needed? The right protector can protect your mattress from all the icky things we'd rather not talk about—not just stains and spills, but also preventing exposure to dead skin cells, pet dander, dust mites, microbes and other allergens. This protection could add years to the life of your mattress.
The Cool Luxe™ Waterproof Mattress Protector could possibly be the most important accessory you add to your ChiliSleep™ sleep system! Not only is it a barrier to possible moisture, it works hard 24/7, keeping you cool as you fall asleep, and protecting you from microbes, bacteria and fungus. It also protects your mattress from all of the other allergens like dust, dander & dust mites. Best of all, it can add years to the life of your mattress by protecting it from naturally-occurring elements.
The mesh skirt allows for airflow so your mattress can breathe, and the body heat trapped in the mattress can easily escape.
The smooth cooling top knit fabric has minimal impact on the feel of your mattress.
A mattress topper is a comfort layer for your mattress and often adds no protection. Ranging in thickness (1-5 inches) and materials (memory foam, latex, synthetic fibers, feathers, or wool), it is designed to sit on top of and change the feel of the mattress (softer, firmer or providing extra support). This is typically a more expensive accessory option for your mattress and will only last for a few years.
A mattress pad is often a quilted layer that fits on top of your mattress for comfort and some protection against normal wear and tear. These can come in many different materials (synthetic and natural) and thicknesses. They are often treated with stain repellant but due to the quilted fiber layer, are not waterproof. Depending on the material and thickness (0.5”-2”) they may be machine washable—but it's important to make sure your washer will accommodate the bulky pad.
A protector fits more like a fitted sheet and is placed directly on top of the mattress. It generally covers 5 sides, focusing protection on the top portion of your mattress. It can easily be removed and washed with other bedding as needed. Moreover, this top layer offers plenty of other great benefits: like cooling, waterproofing, allergen protection, and stain repellant. Investing in a mattress protector will extend the life of your mattress if properly cared for. If using a mattress protector along with your ChiliSleep sleep system, check regularly for condensation underneath the mattress protector. Inspect for signs of condensation. If the mattress is damp, allow it to air dry and make changes to the sleep system temperatures to narrow the gap between the room air temperature and your sleep system temperatures.
Wash your protector according to the wash care instructions. Since a fitted sheet is washed every one to two weeks and is placed on top of the protector, it only needs to be cleaned every 1-2 months (depending on soil level). If you tend to sweat, have pets, or extreme allergies, you may choose to wash your protector more often than recommended. Do not bleach, iron or dry clean.
Remember, after an illness, it's important to remember to clean your mattress protector, along with all of your other bedding. If you are using your protector in a guest room that is not being used regularly, wash before you have a guest or at least every 3-4 months to keep it dust-free.
The mattress protector is a fabric blend of 45% Polyethylene, 55% Polyester face + TPU backing with 100% polyester skirt 1.5 in (4cm) elastic. It is made in China.
